Online Registration and Little League Sign-ups - The days of providing the same information (name, address, phone numbers, email addresses, emergency contacts, medical history, etc.) again and again, every year will soon be history. A comprehensive well-thought registration process allows authorized users (the parents or guardians) to register their families once on the website, then "sign up" their children for a Little League season during designated times of the year. The model permits parents to enter and modify information about their family. If nothing changes within a year, then the "family profile" remains the same. If some information changes, however, the authorized parent is able to log in and make the necessary changes to the family profile. The website provides every registered family the tools to create and maintain their family profile. This saves everyone involved time and effort. Register once, review and update the family profile from time-to-time, and it's all smooth sailing from here! |

A Secure Registration Process and a Protected Database - The PTE Little League website is secure. Extensive effort has been, and will continue to be, provided to ensure all data captured on the website cannot be intercepted between a family's computer and the web hosting company's database. Powerful data encryption technology (software to "scramble" data being transmitted over the Internet) has been deployed on www.parsippanybaseball.com.
Now all family data is stored in a central location, on a single proprietary database.
At no time is this data to be used for any other purpose than to support the PTE Little League. Additionally, only authorized representatives from the PTE Little League have access to sensitive information such as medical history or special needs. |

Redundancy is Virtually Eliminated - After a PTE family registers with the website once, this registration information carries over to the PTE Little League sign-up step. After all family members have been registered, a 5- to 10-minute Little League sign-up activity on the website is all that is necessary when one of the Little League seasons is about to begin. Designated family members (Moms, Dads, Guardians) also have complete control of family profile information. This information can be added to, updated or deleted at any time. |

The PTE Little League Board Controls Website Development, Maintenance, and Content Management - A few members from the PTE Little League have formed a Steering Committee to ensure the website is developed and maintained in a way that best represents the organization. This is a team effort, executed by dedicated parents who share common goals. The Steering Committee works closely with our website designer, Morris Plains Software Systems, to make sure all website requirements are met. |
